Heat treatment

It is important to follow the instructions down below during thermoforming to prevent irretrievable damage to your skates!

For heat treatment, it is necessary to use either a special baking oven designed for this purpose or a conventional electric hot air oven. Do not use a gas oven in any way - it will cause irretrievable damage to your skates!

1. ENABLE LACES
As a first step, it is very important to loosen the laces and prepare them so that you can tighten the skates and laces as quickly as possible until the skates are warm.

2. PREHEAT THE OVEN
Set the temperature on the furnace or on an electric hot-air oven for a temperature of 75-80 ° C. While the oven is preheating, take out of the skate the inner liner.

3. PUT THE SKATES IN THE OVEN
Once the oven is preheated to the temperature, put the skates in the oven. It is important that the skate or knife holder does not touch any parts of the oven. We recommend inserting the knife into a wooden prism with a groove. Keep warming the skates up for a maximum of 2-3 minutes!

4. PUT THE SKATES QUICKLY ON
Remove the skates from the oven, sit on a chair (knees in the 90° angle), put the inner liner in the skates. Put on your skates and use the socks that you normally use during a game. Immediately press the sole in the heel as much as possible. These steps need to be done in the shortest amount of time possible.

5. TIGHTEN THE LACES
Now start tightening the laces. Tighten the whole skates firmly from the tip over the ankle to the last hole (eyelet). Tighten the laces sideways, not upwards. When tightening upwards, you could cause irretrievable damage to the warmed skates!

6. STAY SEATED
Now stay seated, keep your knees constantly bent at a 90 ° angle and let the skates for about 25 minutes on your feet. After this time, pull out the laces from the last 3 eyelets. Then take off the skates as carefully as you can.

8. DONE
Keep in mind that the skates remain warm and it can come to a damage during a careless manipulation. Allow the skates to cool down and let them form for at least 12 hours at room temperature.

TEMPISH company is not responsible for breaching the exact heat treatment process. If you do not dare to do this yourself, visit one of the specialized ice hockey stores where a trained worker will adjust your skates in this way.
